>LM-Lab are a range of Vacuum-Mixers for Laboratory use and scale up, mainly utilized for the production and improvement of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food products, as well as raw materials compatibility and rheology tests
>The LM-Lab are mixers with a range of sizes from 1 to 200ltr. They replicate the production mixers, allowing the scale-up of laboratory results as well as small batch production. The design and compact skid execution allow its installation at laboratory areas providing a high versatility. >There are three important parameter to consider for Scale-Up >Geometry: maintain the geometric similarity. >Operation: related to the circumferential speed to achieve the product transformation required. Quite often, more than a single product transformation is employed, the most energy intensive transformation will determine the product quality. >Time: is expressed as, either a mix time for batch systems or residence time for inline systems. Time refers to the required duration in the high energy environment, inside the mixing equipment.

Technical Description

•      Triple wall vessel,mwith heating- & cooling jacket, Dish-end bottom and shell (steam/cooling-water or Electric water-heating ).

-     All wetted parts AISI 316L, Surface Ra=0.8 micron or better,

•      Counter-Rotating- or Scraper- Agitator with Frequency Inverter

•      The geometrical configuration of the mixing elements are

ensuring an superior mixing in the main product-chamber.

•      The Teflon scraper takes care of an excellent heat-transfer between inner Vessel Surface and Product.

•      The superior mixing and heat-transfer ensures short batch cycle times (BCT)

•      Homogenizer with external circulation, with Frequency Inverter

-     There are four Options:

1.     with Direct Liquid dispersion,(also Hot-Warm-Cold H-W-C),

2.     With external circulation, with Direct Liquid and Powder dispersion,

3.     With internal and external circulation

4.     Note: 1&2 can be combined
